The June Hong Chiang Lee, better known by all in the area as 'The Junk' is a traditional Malaysian built Chinese Junk. Used as part of a merchant fleet until 1985 she was then transformed into the most recognisable liveaboard in the Similan Islands. There are 2 private double cabins aboard, as well as 2 triples and two quads. All have individual air-con and private bathrooms.
The Junk has been completely refurbished to provide its guests with en-suite cabins, lots of on-deck relaxation space, and a large air-conditioned saloon to cool off in. She also has a huge amount of space for kitting up for dives.
For diving, there are two large tenders (ribs) that take you directly to the perfect dive site entry and pick you up on completion of the dive. And on the spacious dive deck you get the chance to top up your tan between dives. You can even get a thai massage upon request!!
