The stylish and comfortable Queen Scuba started operating in November 2003 and at 28m in length, she is one of the larger liveaboards operating in the Similans. All cruises depart from Thap Lamu, with free transfers by minibus available from Phuket or Khao Lak. Queen Scuba has several cabin types - Standard bunk (on the lower deck), VIP and Master. All cabins have private bathrooms with hot water, and are all air-conditioned. There is one twin, one triple and one quad standard bunk cabin. All VIP cabins are double bed which makes this a great boat for couples. The Master cabin is one of the largest around and has private TV/DVD. Master and VIP cabins are on the main deck, with ocean view windows.
The dive deck is possibly the largest on any Similan liveaboard giving plenty of room for suiting up for your dives. Also 2x4m RIBs (tender) help with pick ups after the dives. After your dives, catch the rays on the huge sun deck on top of the boat. The indoor salon is air conditioned and is equipped with TV, DVD and entertainment centre. There are power points in all cabins and the salon for charging batteries, cameras and computers. Food will be Thai with some Western dishes, all served buffet style.
