M/V Faah Yai A very comfortable boat specializing in four and eight day trips to the Mergui Archipelago and Burma Banks. Takes 10 guests, leaving from Ranong (North on mainland Thailand) so you get the maximum time on the dive sites.
MV Faah Yai was built in 1996 as a private dive yacht, and converted in 1998 to a liveaboard diving vessel. Providing cruises, the advantages are obvious, direct access via Thap Lamu and Ranong, shorter cruising times, more dives, less stress and the advantage of sailing further North (Cabusa islands) then any other MV currently operating from Phuket.
 
Faah Yai's layout allows her to accommodate 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins. There is 1 master state room (1 double bed with breakfast room service), 3 double/twin-sharing cabins (1 double bed with single bunk overhead), and 1 twin sharing cabin (single bunks). All have: individually controlled air con, large private bathroom, en-suite facilities. The Salon is equipped with TV, Video Entertainment and much more. Faah Yai has a very comfortable classic style about her, an excellent very experienced crew, and is very seaworthy. The perfect boat for join-in cruises or full-boat charters. |
