INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSES PHUKET PADI Assistant Instructor PhuketAssistant Instructor will expand your knowledge and give you more insight to the responsibilities as an instructor. The course is half part of the Instructor Development Course and after you've done this course you can continue with the Open Water Scuba Instructor which is the other part of the IDC program.
To enrole Assistant Instructor you have to be a certified Divemaster. The course takes three to five days to finish, and the course goes through the theory about how to present academic sessions, pool presentations and Open Water sessions. After the lessons you will show your Staff Instructor or Course Director that you fulfill all performance requirements in these areas by having different presentations that will be evaluated using the same system as during the rest of the IDC. When you've finished the course you can teach all parts of the theory in the Open Water Diver course and other courses and assist the instructor in confined and Open Water. You are also able to hold the Discover Scuba program as well as all the duties of a Divemaster. If you complete the Emergency First Response Course you can teach Emergency First Response too.
